Unki yaad me itne ghum the hum ki khud jeena bhul gaye,
Kal ki tanhaiyon me itne dube the hum ki aaj pechanna bhul gaye,
Unke pyaar me itne khoye the hum ki dosti karna bhul gaye,
Unke intezar me itne magrur the hum ki aur kisi ki pukar sunna bhul gaye,
Wo yaadein, wo tanhaiyan, wo pyaar aur wo intezar ka toh abhi dard tak nahi hota,
Aksar socha karte hain hum ki abtak saans lena kaise na bhul gaye…

to yaadein bemaani hoti,
lamhe tanha ho jate hain,
aapne yaad kiya to yaadein hain,
warna kya, koi lamha, jo guzaar gaya,
khaamosh..chup chaap...
